1. What we collect

Automatically: IP address (truncated where our analytics tool supports it), browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP, and the time of your visit. This is collected by our web server logs and analytics software.

When you contact us: your name, email address and the content of your message.

We do not ask for or store payment details, government IDs, or account credentials. Purchases happen on whop.com under Whop's own privacy policy.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

We use: (a) strictly necessary cookies for site function; (b) analytics cookies to understand which pages are read (see our Cookie Policy for the current list and how to opt out). When you click an affiliate link to whop.com, Whop sets its own cookie to attribute a later purchase to us; that cookie is governed by Whop's privacy policy, not ours.

3. Why we process your data (legal bases)

• Running and securing the site — legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Analytics — consent where required by law, otherwise legitimate interest.
• Replying to your messages — legitimate interest / performance of a contract.
• Legal obligations — compliance with law (Art. 6(1)(c)).

4. Who we share data with

Hosting and CDN providers, analytics providers, and email providers, each acting as our processor. We do not sell personal data. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be shared publicly.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. Retention

Server logs: up to 90 days. Analytics: up to 26 months in aggregated form. Emails: as long as needed to handle your request, then up to 2 years.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (EU/EEA, UK, California and others) you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority. California residents may also request to know what we collect and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — we do neither. To exercise a right, email hello@ecomdiscords.com; we respond within 30 days.

8. Children

This site is not directed to anyone under 18. Many communities we review (trading, betting) are adults-only. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes

We will post the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for 30 days.
